I'm sorry to everyone who was looking forward to the Glee club meeting yesterday, but a dear friend of mine wasn't looking his best last night, and...
[His voice catches in his throat, and a tear slowly starts trickling down his face, his voice even thicker than it was before when he continues.]
I regret to inform you that we just lost an important member of Solve. He was a dear friend to me, someone to sing with and someone who's optimism even when faced with this horrible place was one of the things that helped get me through the last week. He was always there for me, and was such an inspiration to everyone here.
I know its silly, but I'll miss him terribly.
[A little sob escapes him, and he takes a moment to dab at his eyes before standing up and stepping back from the PCD a little, hands clasped in front of him, eyes red and a little puffy, and his face streaked with tears.]
I'd like everyone to hear a song I prepared in honor of him. Hopefully it can express just how much he meant to me, and how sorry I am that his final hours were spent here instead of in a warm, comfortable room back home.
