What I need is, I think...to not be alone so much. To speak with others more. The man I was for a few days was very social. He did not hold himself aloof. That part I will miss.

He put a private message on the Network for me, at the risk of having it discovered by his Warden if it did not pass the barrier, as these messages have during other Floods. That is very hard to ignore.

Compared to this place, that Barge was a true prison of horrors. I was...stunned by it.

I have considerable prowess, yes. Normally I can only use it defensively or I run the risk of punishment, but no one minds if I put myself between another and danger. Then I can fight as hard as I want!
