Have your cake and eat it, too
I celebrated 4th of July on the 3rd because retail steals my friends away. But that is life and it was nice. I have vacation from school this week and it's been amazing and it's only Monday. As much as I love being there, this break was perfect timing and I went out with a bang:
I feel really accomplished with this cake, I've never made anything like it and it's funny to be proud of something so simple like a cake. That's culinary school for you, though.
I am going camping this weekend! I got vegan marshmallows which is awesome because I haven't been able to eat marshmallows since I've been vegetarian and it's not camping without s'mores. Any other camping hints/tips/advice/recipes?
