Cyrus had been adamant about heading to the pool since learning Mesprit would be there.

Not seeing her, he was disappointed. She had transformed into...something. He wasn't sure which one was her. But transforming into a human negated her innate power, and the odds were that she would lack them in whatever form she had taken.

He figured it was worth a shot anyway. "Mesprit!" he addressed strongly.
