I'm beginning to wonder if I don't like christmas now not just because I don't believe in anything it stands for, but if it has to do with people's reactions. I just don't believe in santa, god or Jesus, and most definitely not the consumerism it promotes, which leaves little left for me to fret about. I don't want other people to stop enjoying christmas, I just don't get all worked up about it. It generally reminds me of my much happier/simpler childhood and makes me bitter about my life now, and that's not very enjoyable to me. So that's my shpeel on christmas.
