if ti doesn't matter what you write, can't you just write 1 page and copy it 174 times? you can even just have 174 pages of that and then 1 page conclusion. isn't thata good idea?

Your NaNo idea has probably entered into the mind of every single NaNo participant at some point in the past. But really, it defeats the whole purpose; there's no prize waiting for you at the end except a major sense of accomplishment, and maybe a congragulatory email or two. If you don't get it and want to get it, go on the website. I think the guy who created it is Chris Baty- he sends us encouraging and funny emails over the course of Novemeber, and he is definately a weirdo. But it's amazing what a huge following he's managed to gather over just a few years. Wanna write a novel in a month?
