I hate it when people think that individual effort doesn't make a difference in the greater scheme of things.
Sure, when you consider that you are one in more than six billion people, of course it doesn't seem like your actions will have any effect on anything global. But, COME ON. For pity's sake (because I've never heard of anything more

he was too scary.
he kept saying "are you stupid???" and then he cursed at me and then he walked away to another car.
then when he finally came and gave me gas he said "you can't go!"
and i was like "huh?" (besides the fact that i would have been crying already if he wasn't looking- i saved that for the way home)
and i handed him the money and then he took it and i was scared he wouldn't give me change but he did.
and somewhere in the middle of that he said "i'm sorry (not quite in english but i figured it out) but someone just stole $40 from me"
and on my way home (crying) i got it-- he decided to vent and be angry and mean and scary [A] because he wanted to make sure i didn't steal money (ha! do i look that threatening? i hardly even woke up yet- it was before 7:00) and [B] i dunno. i forgot what the other reason was.
the part i left out is that i WAS being a little dumb. not dumb, really, but i only got gas twice before, both times a while ago, and both times i think someone else was in the car.
i thought i opened the gas thing but apparently i didn't. and he thought i was too far back. but i wouldn't have been if he had let me stay at the one i first pulled up to. i guess i'm just inexperienced but there was still no reason to treat a customer like that. or anyone really.
so when i left i said "thank you, have a good day"
did i do it well?
oooooooooo it was really scary
