i'm proud to say i got all of my christmas shopping done on time this year. good thing too, because we are "iced in"... apparently.
i'm so tired of weather in the midwest. i get so down in the winter. i need a change of pace, but i'm not sure what that entails. some certain news has me seeking out new options for next fall. who knows what will happen, but i can only see it as an doorway to new opportunities. i'm just trying to keep a positive perspective. it's hard - getting kicked while you're already down, but i need to take my own advice for once and make the best of this hand i've been dealt.
