time for new years resolutions. time for people to make promises that they won't keep. A tradition to make them, and just as much of a tradition to break them.
i think i'm going to break the tradition. or at least give it my best shot.
This year, i'm going to say love only when i mean it. And i'm going to mean it more often. I'm going to see myself more, and i'm going to change what i don't like, not just wish i could. I'm going to forgive myself for things that are in the past, and i'm not going to hold grudges.
I'm going to start asking myself what i want, and realize that what i want isn't inferior to what anyone else wants. I'm going to start new relationships and make old ones stronger. I'm going to trust people more, and not push people away. I will stay open minded, and do my best to make others more open minded also.
Most importantly, i'm going to grow. I'm going to grow from everything that i do, take in everyone that i meet, and always know that the choices that i make, wrong or right, are helping me to do this. This is going to be one for the books.
