[Action; Downtown, Mayfield General Store.]

[Leaving her questions of where she was for later, Sakura's main concern was making sure that she had sustenance. You'll find her browsing the aisles for food, pushing a shopping cart idly. She might also be mumbling to herself a list that she mentally has in her head.]

[Bazett almost chokes on her own spit when she hears Sakura's words. Fortunately, she was neither eating nor drinking anything at the moment. She clears her throat and attempts to calm down.]

I was unaware that Tohsaka had a sister. How come you go by the Matou name?

[Given that she is younger than Tohsaka, marriage is unlikely. She quickly reviews the information about mage families in the area that she received from her superior upon arriving in Fuyuki. The Emiya clan had a residence there, but the current heir, Emiya Kiritsugu, was usually not in residence. They had adopted some children, at least one girl and one boy, but their status as mages was unknown. The Tohsaka clan was still active, but the heir was in London. The Matou clan's power had most faded away--the current head had disappeared a couple of years back and the "heir" did not seem to have any interest in inheriting the name. He lived with two children said to be his niece and nephew, but neither of them were supposedly mages. If this was the "niece," then why was she claiming to be Tohsaka's sister? Then again, given alternate universes, especially in the universes that had a Grail War, anything was possible.]

Also, how do you feel about your sister? What would you do if you encountered her in Mayfield?

[Siblings getting along should be a given, but she has seen more than a few tragic cases of siblings becoming deadly enemies over the most flimsy of subjects.]

It's... it's a long story... I was adopted by the Matou family.

[That's all she's willing to tell anyways. She can only trust a stranger so much.]

Nee-san...? I love her with all my heart, she's my sister after all... if I saw her here, I'd be really happy.

I understand.

[She is a little surprised at Matou clan's willingness to adopt the child of another clan, but the Japanese do have different customs, so she simply attributes it to cultural differences and does not ask any further.]

I am glad to know that.

[Since this girl is obviously loyal to Tohsaka if nothing else, she believes she can trust her.]

I am Bazett Fraga McRemitz, an Enforcer of the Mage's Association. As I said before, I come from a universe where the Grail War was never fought. I am currently in an alliance with the Tohsaka Rin of my world. I extended it to the Tohsaka Rin that I encountered here. I am not sure if she is from your world or not. However, I know that she has a Servant named Lancer and a former Servant who is now powerless named Archer. Both of them are absolutely loyal to her; you can trust them. She also has a partner named Garviel. Again, I believe he is a trustworthy man.

As an ally of your sister, I believe my alliance will extend to you. Given that you are new, you will probably be powerless. I suppose I will have to do my best to protect you if your sister or her Servants are unavailable then.

[She herself is not much better off. However, even as a human, she still has her combat training. She supposes that she is around the level of a depowered Heroic Spirit like Archer. Not the best of fighters, but still better than people who did not know how to fight.]
