puppies!
You guys, I'm getting a puppy...! I've wanted a dog for soso long, but due to a semi-complicated living situation I wasn't able to have one. But things have changed. Yay! An old co-worker of mine fosters lots of animals, and two of her foster dogs, a Bichon Frise and Chihuahua, accidentally got busy one day, so now wa-la--puppies! Since they aren't old enough to wean from their chihuahua momma, I don't have one yet. However, I have been endlessly harassing their owner and she has been kind enough to let me visit them a couple of times a week to watch them grow up. In the two weeks since we first found out that we (Nick and I) would be adopting one of them, they have grown from these tiny puppy blobs to fluffy little beasties who try to eat my toes and wrestle and are just too cute for words.
I have lots more pictures, but I can't figure out how to make a single link that says, like, "puppies!" or something with lots of pictures (instead of just one) behind it. I only know how to link to one Photobucket picture... help! There are four puppies in the litter, two boys and two girls, and we'll be taking home the boy curled up in Nick's hand <3
PS--all the pictures are on my Facebook, so that might just be an easier way to look at them
We're not sure how Shredder is going to react, but my dream is that someday they'll be partners in crime and secretly love each other. Since her namesake is a Ninja Turtles villain we thought it appropriate to name the puppy after another of the show's bad guys--Rocksteady. Rocky for short :) But we're not totally sold on it. We were considering Dexter, but it seems like lots of people have named their dogs Dexter. Any ideas?
