Good news! I passed my genetics test and got the highest score of my group :D Yay! And I also got permission to take Genetics II, which starts next week. I wasn't sure if I was going to get to take it because I'm technically a "trainee", so the boss people worry that the time commitment of a class will take away from my training and learning new things, but I assured them that that I won't let that happen. I'm soooo excited! But I also have to take Lab Animal Science in March, so for a few weeks I'll be taking both classes and working the 40+ hours/week. It's going to be interesting... but awesome! I'm also getting much better at my biomethods. I restrained and notched 7 mice today (I only had an hour to practice). My notches need a lot of work, so I hope I get more time to practice next week. And I didn't practice tails at all, so I gotta do that, too.
I'm working a lot and not sleeping enough, but things are good anyway.
And I really want to go to the new Westlake Market and get some ice cream, but I'm too sleepy.
