watched welcome to the dollhouse and rules of attraction tonight. i hadn't seen the former since high school, and it was funnier this time around, mostly due to the fact that i feel less like dawn weiner now. also, rules of attraction makes me nauseous. the kind of nauseous that bret easton ellis gives you. i tried to read the novel once, a long time ago, and couldn't finish because it made my stomach turn.
anyway. worked another 10.5 hour day. those are always good for the paycheck. not so good for katie's health. but there's time to sleep when i die.
actually, now that i mention sleep, it sounds like a pretty good idea. i've got tomorrow off, and i'd like to actually leave the house for more than an hour, and before dark, too, this time.
had drinks with lena on tuesday night, which was a total blast.
finally, finally got my paycheck deposited this morning. you know, the one that was supposed to be in my bank account last thursday.
it feels like a lifetime since monday, my last day off. it was two or three days ago, but it may as well have been last month.
spent 40 bucks at the store on a crapload of awesome groceries. whole foods was closed, though, we had to go to fred meyer. bought a 15 dollar pair of jeans from the store today that make my ass look almost more awesome than any other jeans i own. almost.
have drank every night since friday. i drank all the leftover beers from friday by tuesday night. not doing that for a while. at least til the girls and the boys and i go to the movies on friday. hello, i am katie. i am an insomniac alcoholic.
