[translations] drama&single updates.
hey guys. I know i've been sort of absent with going-on's recently, lol. The past two weeks have been filled with tests and essays. :| Hopefully this coming week won't be so bad, though :D Then the next week I have homecomingggg yay, lol.
ANYWAYS. That's definitely not the point of this post. I meant to do this a while ago, but anyways..
for anyone who's interested in a couple translations about Keita's first actual drama, "Ohitorisama" or the trio's new single, "New World/Truth ~Saigo no Shinjitsu~", then check the lj-cuts below :D
First up, Ohitorisama !

So, we all know that Keita's been granted the role of Hiroyuki Harada, the best friend of the main male lead, Shinichi Kamisaka (Teppei Koike), but what is this drama, Ohitorisama, actually about?
Firstly, what the heck does Ohitorisama even mean? Well, it actually started by waitresses and waiters in Japan, when asking if a customer is by themselves. Hitori means "one person", and sama is a polite suffix added to one's name to show respect. (hence kyakusama, which means customer). Waiters and Waitresses would therefore ask a customer o-hitorisama desu ka? when asking if they are by themselves for that night. Recently, however, the meaning of this has been evolving thanks to pop culture. Many people simply use ohitorisama today when referring of a woman who is by herself. Ohitorisama aren't necessarily lonely or prefer to be alone, but rather they are headstrong independent women. One of my Japanese friends told me that many women in Japan today strive to become ohitorisama.
Enough of that, now let's get onto what you REALLY wanted to read about.

彼女自身がこの学校の出身であり、この学校に誇りを持っている。そして誰もが認める才色兼備。性格は、妥協を許さない完璧主義。何でも一人でやってのけることから、“おひとりさま”の異名を持つ。ここしばらくは仕事が忙しく、彼氏を作る暇もない。そんな意味でも“おひとりさま”と言われている。
ある日、この女ばかりの園に、臨時職員として神坂真一(小池徹平)がやって来る。彼は23歳で里美とは10歳違いの平成育ち。大学を卒業した後もアルバイトを繰り返して、何の肩書きも持っていない。なぜか突然、この学校に教師として派遣され、真一自身も戸惑っている。
若い女教師や女生徒たちは、イケメンで可愛いタイプの真一にキャーキャー言っているが、里美は10歳も年下の男の子に興味はない。自分はベテラン教師でこの仕事に人生をかけているのだが、真一はまだ臨時職員。収入も地位も里美の方が格段に上。その上、真一は独自の価値観を持った現在増殖中の草食系男子とくれば、そんな二人の間に男女の関係が成立するなど想像も出来ない…はずだったが…!?

Ohitorisama revolves around 33 year old Satomi Akiyama (Arisa Mizuki). She teaches Japanese history at a prestigious all-girls school, and is, to be frank, a woman of experience.
She is also very proud of having graduated from the very same school herself. She is a woman gifted with both beauty and intelligence that anyone would notice. Her motto is to never give in or compromise; a perfect rule. Satomi is one who can do anything by her own strength, so she has gained the nickname of "ohitorisama" from those around her. Additionally, for quite some time she has been extremely busy with her work and therefore has no downtime for a boyfriend. It is also for this reason that she is called "ohitorisama".
One day at the all-girls school, Shinichi Kamisaka (Teppei Koike), a newly employed temporary staff member, comes along. He's merely 23 years old, and, having been born and brought up in the Heisei Era, is ten years younger than Satomi. After graduating from college, he decided to go back to working park time, and doesn't posess any sort of a degree whatsoever. Even Shinichi himself is bewildered as to why he was suddently sent to be a teacher at this school.
All of the young female teachers and even the students begin to go crazy over him -- he's hot, cute, and definitely their type, but Satomi has no interest in a little boy who's ten years her junior. She's already a veteran at the school, her whole life hanging onto her job, while Shinichi is merely a temporary staff. Her income and status are exceptionally above his. And on top of that, she can't even imagine being with a herbivorous man like Shinichi, whose peculiar habits keep on multiplying.... That's how it was supposed to be, but...?!

Interesting, yes? I'll be waiting for this drama to come out, and will definitely be watching it. :D
If I can, I was thinking maybe I'll sub it if no other fansub group has claimed it already, but I'd need to find a timer, lol. I'd probably only make softsubs though, just because it takes up less space on my computer. If anyone's interested or if anyone knows of a fansub group that's already doing it, let me know :D (keep in mind i'm very slow and I am nowhere near fluent. Just, if no one else is doing it i'll try my hand at it, lol)
Secondly, New World/Truth ~Saigo no Shinjitsu~.

I wonder who it is?
