Personally, I'm all for the death penalty. The only problem with the death penalty is that it doesn't get used enough to actually be a deterrent. I think that executions should be scheduled regularly, and should be public. Maybe have executions on primetime TV. Reality TV is huge, so "The Electric Chair Show" would be a ratings bonanza for FOX. They could do a lead-in story, outlining the convicted person's crimes, then show the execution, then do a follow-up. Maybe show how the execution affected the families of the criminal, and the family of his/her victims.
Ehh? And it turns out, he's actually serious!
I'm totally against the death penalty.
- Someone goes and kills someone.
- The goverment kill them.
We shouldn't be teaching our children that it's ok to kill in certain cirumstances, we should be teaching them that it's not ok to kill at all!
