for the past few days we have been going at a painstakingly slow pace. We are doing are best to finish this EP as quickly as possible with all problems that are going on in this band. The first day went great with Stefano doing an amazing job on his drum tracks and will surprise everyone with his improvement since the last demo we put out online. The next day unfortunately did not go as smoothly as we planned, Josh was very tired and did not finish all the parts we wanted him to do and I was only able to finish two songs.
Today was another day that felt incomplete. I got there and was only able to record two guitar tracks. Romy did a great job on the two tracks that we had mostly completed. Then Roger came up to the plate and did a great job on the vocal track for Song 1 which is almost complete.
I went to Sergio's later tonight and I did most of the assignment that IB assigned me to do. Thanks for helping a bro out.
Fire At Will has two dilemmas that I would appreciate anyones input.
- First of all, some members want to sell this EP for a small amount of money like 3 or 4 bucks. It's something I'm against because I think were still a small band that wants people to hear us, so making this only available through paying some cash is going to work against us. What do you think?
- Also Josh is strongly against us playing a show at the Kaffe because were not part of that scene and doesn't want to get a bad response. The rest of the band thinks that's a stupid reason not to play a show so if you guys could try post and convince Josh that we should play this show that would be appreciated.
