The Doctor Who Posts: Explanation and The Time Traveler
ALRIGHT. SO. I'm attempting some DW fan fiction. Whether it's any good is yet to be determined. It's my first crack at DW fan fiction so go easy on me, alright? I also gave my self a specific set of guidelines I must follow. And if I break the rules, then Imma break my face. X-posted to sarahjane_fic .
Parameters for the 'series' are as follows:
- Post-Ep for each of the Doctor Who episodes involving Sarah Jane Smith
- In order, including both Classic and Nu Who
- Not to exceed 200 words
Title: The Time Traveler
Characters: The Doctor (3rd), Sarah Jane Smith

Word Count: 160 words
Episode: The Time Warrior
Summary: A proper introduction between Sarah and The Tardis.
A/N: I don't own them. All Americanisms are purely my fault.
"Since you didn't get the proper introduction earlier… This, my dear Sarah, is the Tardis," he said.
She looked around in awe, her breath catching slightly. In all honesty, her first time in the Tardis had barely fazed her, for she was too focused on remaining hidden from the Doctor. But now having the knowledge of what this absurd thing actually was, she was amazed and a bit overwhelmed by it all. She did her best not to let her unbridled amazement show, but every now and again her reserve would slip. The sound of the engine as it began to whiz and whir. A flickering yellow button that seemed to be directly in time with the Doctor quick and effortless movements around the console. The slight hum she felt against her fingertips whenever she laid a hand on a beam or a wall.
She felt strangely relaxed as she closed her eyes, reveling in the feel of the universe.
