viva las vegas!
ok, so shit. let me tell you about out day at the airport.
Saturday: Woke up at 4am. our flight wa schedualed to leave at 6:56. Got to the airport and 5:30 waited in line until 6:30. Rushed to the turminal so we wouldn't miss the flight. Got there and founf out that it was delayed until 10:30. Apparently our plane was missing a part to one of the fire extinguishers. So we wait until 10:30 and they tell us that it is still not here and they wil have an update at 11:30. And they give everyone $8 vouchers for food. At 11:30 they tell us that they will have an update at 12:05. and they give us more vouchers. So we go back to gustavs.
Then we go back and they tel us that the part is there but its missing a part, so their not going to use that plane.
WE either have the choice to take a smaller plane to vegas when it gets in OR ride a bus up to seattle (4hrs) and then fly to vegas from there. But they needed people to do the bus thing because the plane was smaller and wouldn't fit everyone. And they would give everone who did the bus thing a free round trip to anywhere alaska airlines flies (you have to use it within 1 year). So we decide to make our on alternative and fly to seattle and then to vegas. So we decide to do that. We go to terminal A5 and to ride a small small plane, the kind you walk up the stairs to.(never done that before) But while we were waiting that flight gets delayed 1 hour. hahah. So we wait, we finally leave th airport at 2:30. We get to seattle and there we have to wait util 5:38pm, thats when the plane leave for vegas. Luckily that plane did not get delayed. So we sit around and eat more airport food. yum. :P
So then we get to vegas at 8:30 and get our luggage and go to the car rental place. And they dont have the van that we reserved. So we wait there for 45 min. for them to find us another van.
WE finally get the van and head for the hotel. WE get lost and take the wrong road. We try to fix our mistake and side swipe a car. SHIT!. We pull over and the guy pulls over. Our car has a huge scratch, his has a tiny one. But his car was a rental as well, so he didn't care.
We go to the grocery store and then finally get into the hotel at 11. oddly enough we're not tired and we stay up until 1:30.
so we were at the airport for over 12 hours. a bit of misfortune. HA! a fucking lot of misfortune!!!
But yesturday was fun. We woke up and sat around and drank coffee. Then codys parents and missy and brian left and we got into their alcohol. Southern Comfort and Jack daniels. We each took a shot of SoCo and then had jack and coke, had sex, and then left for the strip. It was so intense. But after the strip we came back and went into the hot tub.
But today we're going to go to the wrok out room for an hour and then lounge by the pool all day. woot.
but yeah, Im gonna go.
