Leaving, on a jet plane...
So, flights and hotel are booked for Phoenix Con 7 next March so all I have to do is be ready to take off at the ungodly hour of 06:55.
I have recovered from the virus I had last week which is a relief and I'm back at work - both day jobbery and not - so that's good. :-) And I'm making my way back through Jeff Vandermeer's Booklife. Very interesting book; articulates lots of good advice; well worth more than one read through.
Christmas shopping is about 50% done, but I'm off to see the pater in the frozen north at the end of the week so I shall engage in more shopping then in the glories of Newcastle. I shall also swing by Borders to see if they've got any stock left and have recieved the latest copies of Locus and Realms. We live in hope. Although, if Borders go fully under I shall have to splash out on a subscription, I suppose. ::sigh::
