(no subject)
Christmas shopping!
I bought a little book for Andrew...The Joys of Engrish...photos of translations gone wrong. I had to jump on though because Cam had a flick through it just now...on a t-shirt - PARTY 69, "make your dream elegant"...on MY BOY boxer shorts,"make your dream get bigger". He had a laugh and then said..."I don't get those ones". Ahhh...he is still naive and innocent :) I didn't bother explaining.
Anyway.
I am officially finished uni as of Saturday last week. Wore the hat and the gown...thought I may as well make the most of it. It was a fun day, sad to say goodbye to uni acquaintances (how do you spell it?). I'm still trying to pack up my things and bring them all home though...lazy!
I found a birds nest in the cumquat tree the other day...three little birdies thought I was gonna feed them. I checked again today, but they were gone :( It excited me for a bit to find it and now they are gone I'm disappointed. Does that seem weird?
Kid's club was a shambles today and we commanded everyone to go home early - the first time ever, and it was supposed to be our party...so disappointing. I was so frustrated. I screamed and yelled internally, although I think some of it leaked out. But they need to know that there are consequences for bad behaviour...or something like that. Hopefully they teach you great strategies for dealing with kids next year Lil! :)
Lovely Christmas dinner with a lovely hostess and friends, except for an attack of the runs ............... ...............................................................................Yup.
So many lovley days over the last few weeks. Romantic nights with Tris, midnight chats with Andrew about things that matter etc. It's been great!
