But I've been well, I suppose; as well as I can be, all things considered. And you?

Mm, yes, I'm well aware that you've 'straightened yourself out', however I can't imagine you'd keep out of trouble forever. You've always had a knack for it.

Trouble is easy to avoid when there are few to start it with. I suppose the calm here is beneficial, albeit boring.

I'm surprised that you expect that I would; I can't see that changing any time soon -- but regardless, I suppose there has to be something. I spent several months here, after all, and I found ways to keep busy then.

Oh, there were things to do. There was no shortage of good company, and we found ways to entertain ourselves.
