A little update
I've been back in Buffalo for a little while now, and things are going really well. I've been hanging out with Jordan almost every night which has been really nice. He's actually quite wonderful and I'm loving spending so much time with him. It's been quite the lazy break
I've also been applying for summer internships and so far I have 17 interviews through ACUHO-I --- Arizona State, Tulane, Illinois State, Western Illinois, University of Maryland, Marquette, Northern Illinois, University of Akron, Ohio University, Georgia Southern, Emory, Southern Methodist, Southern Illinois, Appalachian State, Iowa State, Mississippi State, and Grand Valley State. I'm super pumped because I got all of these interviews on the first contact day, and made out pretty well. U of Akron, Marquette, and Illinois State contacted me first which was a bit flattering. Anyhow, it's very exciting, and I will be spending a lot of time in the judicial office on the phone in the upcoming weeks. I'll keep you all updated...
I've been having a lot of fun lately hanging out with Jordan's friends and my friends. I really think this is the semester the 1st year cohort bonds. We've all been kind of doing our own thing, but I think we're starting to come together. Hopefully the Tuesday post-class hang outs work.
The semester starts tomorrow. It should be fine seeing as I got all A's last semester with little effort. My goal is to get all 4.0's in the program, but we'll see how that goes. Cary is supposed to be difficult. All in all, it doesn't really matter. I guess it's just one of those personal feel-good-about-myself kind of things.
