to the waves....salut
i went for a run! with jill, dan, and laurrrra. and now i'm super tired.
laura and i are going swimming tomorrow. yikes! i haven't gone swimming for ages. anywho, yeah.
she and i are gonna have fun this summer. i am so pumped about family camp and i can't wait to get out there. i am so grateful that my aunt and uncle are letting me stay at their cottage. it's fantasical. i've always loved their cottage. i'm taking a fan and my alarm clock as the only electronics. i'll take my phone but it's staying off unless i need to make a call. i love being a recluse out there. it really gives me a chance to get back into my God state of mind. when i think of my sanctuary, that's where i go. down there on that rocky beach (dead fish included) and the waves crashing up at me as if saying "WHO ARE YOU? WHAT IS YOUR PURPOSE? I AM THE LAKE AND THIS IS WHAT I DO? WHAT DO YOU DO?" And usually I don't have an answer, but this summer i feel like i'll have an answer, or that i'm closer than i ever was to one.
