I wasn't sure if what was playing in my head would come through. In my mind (and knowing just a little of how IM works), I pictured Roger reading what Rafa was posting, but just not emotionally ready to respond. Thus signing off.

Now we need Happy Fic!, dammit!

I can see the same thing, fedal_fangirl. I can see exactly what you are saying. I can picture Rog sitting there and looking at this, but not having the heart to post and the only way he could deal with it was by logging off.

Great view! Great story, but we definitely need happier endings!
