Rafa wins his quarterfinals match over Wawrinka. On to the semi's, where he will play Someone Not Roger. And almost just as important: Djokovic lost his quarterfinals match, which means he will have a net loss of about 425 points come Monday's rankings. when players say rankings doesnt matter to them, i dont believe it but when Rafa says is somehow i kind of believe him...im hoping for an all Spanish semis *crosses fingers*

and a quick question, do they always get a stuffed toy every match?

I don't know about other tournaments but yes, in Rome every player gets a stuffed lion on their chairs. Don't know if they have to leave it there or if they can take it with them.
And yes, Roger got the award of the most elegant player on court. He was quite pleased with it, athough he looked a little shy while it was handed over to him.
To be honest, I like this trophy better than the kind of vases the winner gets :)

I haven't seen the lions. I liked it when Rafa was photographed with a stuffed panda. :)

thanks for the info, yeah, i think its just in Rome, i always get a glimpse of it on their bench, i hope they at least get to take one, i know i want one, they look so cute XD

This is the most adorable pic of Rafa I've ever seen! Him, looking all manly and stuff... and then there's his wee little stuffed lion! I could die of cuteness overload.

Never EVER apologize for posting a half naked pic of Rafa. XD
