Nagase to take over Sakurai on NTV.
Ah, so it was announced yesterday that Nagase (TOKIO) would be starring in a new drama which is currently untitlted on NTV, saturday nights at 9pm. The drama will follow The Quiz Show, (currently airing)
What's awesome is, tomorrow, Mr Brain will be kicking off at TBS, saturday 10pm. When these two dramas combine: 9pm The Quiz Show, 10pm Mr Brain and then, when TQS ends, you could watch Nagase's comedy drama at 9pm NTV, and switch to TBS at 10pm. *Gets totally carried away planning such impossible things for others.*
Looks like JE is determined to make fans stick to their tellys on the weekend~! Provided you're a shallow JE freak like me who would do something like that. XD
I've not even discussed the drama yet. Nagase would be playing a superspy cracking down the activities of terrorists. Interestingly enough he used to be a fraud and was "hired" by the government to put his skills to use. In Kurosagi style, expect to see Nagase in variable amusing diguises along with devices that could rival Inspector Gadget ;) (yes this IS comedy!).
Guess next season would be a battle between Nagase and Yamashita huh? XD It would be a saturday vs monday showdown~! *Just kidding, I'm trying to sound excited but I failed.*
