The softball bat I ordered arrived this week, but they sent a 23 oz one instead of 30 oz, so that'll have to go back. At least I ordered it from a Dutch site rather than having to send it back to the US.
BookCrossing meet-up on Tuesday. Dropped a load of books from bookrings off with Chris, as he hadn't been around to pick them up in December 'cos of doing Space Cadets (I think he was the only real rocket scientist on the show).
Ran D&D for BC gamers on Wednesday - campaign going not too badly. Drank the Chablis we won in the spot prize at the Five Bells quiz before Christmas, which was nice.
Had a haircut this morning, bought a few books from the charity shop (including an interesting-looking one on the theory and practice of crosswords by an old crossword setter), and went to work.
Met kittensbroadway for lunch & a beer at Penderel's Oak, as she's working today too.
Just ran two legal research classes back-to-back. Fully subscribed. More students tried to crash the second session, but the others drove them off with pitchforks and flaming torches.
