What does your name mean? (first and middle)
Manly/horse-lover/dunno (Andrew Philip James)
Are you named after anyone?
Middle names are after my maternal grandfather and great-grandfather.
Do you have any favorite nicknames people have called you or you wish you had been called?
Used to be called "PJ" at school, from my middle initials. Not a bad nickname.
If people don't get your name right, what is the name people are most likely to call you?
People usually get my first name right, but my surname has ended up as Harton, Orton, Hawford, etc...
Did you ever have a name that you wished was yours instead of the one you were born with/ given by your parents? If so, do you go by it now?
Not really.
If you were ever to have a child/ have ever dreamed of naming a child/ have named a child, what are names you like/liked?
I like Old English names - Athelstan or Aldhelm or Aelfric (pronounced Alfrich) for a boy, Frithuwebbe ("peaceweaver") or Ellen ("zeal, courage") for a girl. Or place-names from westerns - Colorado or Nevada for a boy, Wichita or Abilene for a girl.
