Well, here I am.
This is my first post here. My name's Andy, and I'm a gamer and a library worker.
I have a dissertation to write (somehow) by 24th August.
I'm a member of the BookCrossing website (www.bookcrossing.com/mybookshelf/londonmet), where I go by the screen-name londonmet. That, in turn, is from my stint as University Challenge team captain for London Metropolitan University last year. I work here.
The last few days have been OK. I was at the unofficial boookcrossing meet-up of the now-called London renegades on thursday, and so missed the pub quiz. I looked in at The Bowl, a fun free festival which always seems to get good weather. Did some sword-practice with my mate Iain on Sunday, and had a barbecue. Met up with some old colleagues yesterday, Today, I had a bookcrossing catch journalled from the picnic at Kew Gardens which Anthony organised a couple of weeks ago. Found by someone who doesn't like lavender, apparently.
