"What, even wine gums?"
Went to the dentist's this morning. Apparently, there's a ledge of tooth sticking out under the crown, and food can get trapped there causing infection. He's put cement over it, but if that wears off, he says he'll remake the crown for no charge. At least there seems to be no nerve damage. However, I shall need another filling, and the dentist told me to cut down on the sweets and chocolate. Especially sticky sweets - "that would include wine gums?", I asked. Apparently it would. I suppose I ought to curb my sweet tooth, in order to keep my real teeth. But I like sweets.
