Baby in a pram (Awww)
Oh my. What an eventful 2 weeks this has been (Slight emphasis on eventful, so as to sound sarcastic) Lets have a quick run down, followed by more detailed individual descriptions shall we? So, in the last two weeks i have seen a couple of exceptionally good metal bands, had a new arrival in the family, got an interview for a new job (Praise the lord) and best of all, spent lots of time with _confuzledx.
Ok then, so the metal bands eh? Last sunday i went to the ole Studio 24 with my marmite not_neil to see Narcosis play with Ix, A Written Apology and Black Sun. The first band, shit. The second band, Ix, great, yet they gave me pins and needles in my feet! d00m. Black Sun were shite as well but Narcosis more than made up for it with their sheeeeeeeer excellence! G'awn the fast fat man! And on saturday just gone past, myself and Viv packed our tidy asses into a suitable venue. Grindcore bands playing with fine china and wallpaper all around, mmhmm! Friday Night Gunfight played first, satisfying for what they do, seeing as its not to my taste. Collapse Of Reason were pretty good too. Highlight of the night was without a shadow of a doubt, Conquest Of Steel!!! Steel is the law, after all. Sons Of Slaughter are just your generic death metal band with nothing to seperate them from anyone else, but on the other hand, Man Must Die were on top form. Pity i was so tired i nearly fell asleep in an armchair with this huge motherfucker screaming in my face. Oh well.
The new arrival in the family = Little sister Lucy, now 7 days old. Well, technically she is my half-sister but thats shan, so i miss out the half part. So.... PIX!!!
Sad thing is, the first song this child ever heard was "Have You Seen Wallys Guitar Strap?" by Kirkliston Deth and it made her cry. It was to expected i suppose, i have seen grown men cry to KD. Cute wee thing so she is.
The new job whilst not totally within my grasp yet, is looking likely to be mine. I wont go into further detail, as i will be embarrassed if i dont get it if i go on and on about it.
The Viv is my best friend, i love spending time with her anytime and all the time. Nothing can get to me when she's there (Except her occasional nagging/moaning :P) I love Viv and theres not really much more i can say than that. Go team Viv!!
