Yesterday was my second appt with the high risk doc (who is very nice) and J was able to go. Actually we have both been counting down the days till this special u/s appt :)

I always wondered how belly tattoos would work over the course of a pregnancy. Your belly shots are going to be fascinating come X-mas time!

She has such delicate features! That's the first ultrasound pic I've seen where it doesn't look like Skeletor... Even a lot of the 3D pics seem otherworldly. That's most definitely a little girl--with rockstar eyelashes! :)

thanks-they warned us about the bony look since she has no baby fat yet-but I still think she is precious. I still can't believe she is in there with me every moment of everyday. It is impossible for motherhood to not change you..wow.
LOL-I can only imagine how this belly will look-I will keep everyone posted. I take a photo every week. I have been warned for years about preg and tattoos-but I don't care :) I just want to be healthy and gain enough for her.
yay for non-skeletor (though my other half used to love he-man, I was a she-ra girl myself!!)

As for He-Man, rewatching it as an adult with my kids--OMG. It's hilarious, and a running joke between my husband and I with He-Man's "fabulous" powers and all. XD

Awww - congrats. I can't wait to find out what the little one is as well. Not sure if they are going to do it at this next appointment or wait to the one after since I am a late February momma. It's so fun watching them and ourselves grow. Btw, nice place and pretty tats.

That would be cool. I think I might sign up for a birthing class in a month or so and maybe there will be similiar due date women in there.
I first thought we were having a boy but lately I have been thinking girl and secretly hoping it's a girl. I noticed the huge numbers of boys this past week and was thinking what is going on? But I am guessing in the end, we might end up almost 50/50 maybe.
Have you decided on a name or bought a cute girly outfit yet? I am almost worried about finding out because then there will no stopping the onslaught of unnecessary purchases. I live about 20 minutes from outlets with four baby stores - I already go in them for other people's kids and I have been eyeing outfits up. It's bad.

I am dying to decorate the room now and buy baby things-but momma needs maternity clothes first lol. I am so uncomfortable in anything that I used to be able to wear-I have to fully submit to maternity now :) Hopefully I can go next weekend. We picked out a girl name right away-but fought over boy names the whole time. I was hoping it was a sign I was having a girl.
I still need to take a tour of the hospital...and sign up for everything else. Time goes so fast it seems....event though everyone said I would feel preg forever.

I didn't think I was going to get one-but she switched over a few times to give us a print of the 3D. I think she was in a good mood yesterday :)
