Grr I'm uncomfortable!
Ok so as I knew this would happen I'm not shocked just miserable and annoyed that I was right. Of all the times to be right did I have to be about this?!?!?!? I awoke today in the wonderful world of a UTI !!!!! Fun fun fun for the whole family! All I have been doing all morning is peeing and throwing up! Kevin had to leave work to get my prescription filled, poor little Cameron has spent most of his day in his crib and infant carseat because I can barely stay out of the bathroom. They gave me Macrobid like I expected them to. The thing that sucks about Macrobid is it takes almost the whole week to fully kick in! First week of the second trimester and already a UTI! At least last time I didn't get one till I was almost through the damn thing! You just gotta love that pregnancy goodness!
P.S. in an effort to make this post something other than one giant complaint have any of you ladies gotten a uti yet and if so what have you done to prevent future ones? I've already been guzzling down the cranberry juice and making sure to wipe front to back. Is there anything else that can be done? These things are a bitch especially when you have a little one at home already!
