Hospital bags!

If you're giving birth in a hospital or birth center, have you started packing your bags yet? I packed mine a few weeks ago, but I've started doubting some of my choices, and wanted to get some opinions.

The hospital where I'll be giving birth generally keeps you for 48 hours after delivery (unless you want to leave early, or there's some kind of complication). I packed some pajamas, just a regular old pair of pj pants and a long-sleeved tee type top. Would a nightgown be a better choice? Are pjs likely to just get all bloody? For nighttime nursing, is a buttoned top easier than a tee type? Does it even really matter?

For daytime wear, I packed a pair of sweatpants which don't fit now, but fit earlier in my pregnancy, and I packed a couple of maternity pants that were pretty comfy earlier on. Are you really sore and uncomfortable after delivery, to the point that wearing fitted pants can be painful? Would it be better to take the pants out and replace them with big, loose sweats?

Thanks for your opinions, ladies!
