Prizes and Friday afternoons
Well, its about 2:30pm. I have about an hour of time left for "work" before I need to clean up my experiments and head downstairs for a "phone meeting". Which Im sure will make me feel like I need to poke my eye out, as they generally do. Then again, I have not spoken to this person on the phone before, so it might not be that bad. We will see.
Today, I signed a magical page and handed it into our dept. APO which will establish my very own speed code for purchasing purposes. Woohoo - its for the $1500 AHFMR research allowance, which means it will be easy for me to use this allowance for research purposes - I wont need to do any complicated reimbursement stuff - yay. This is also good news because it means the award has been processed, and I should see and increase in my stipend back paid to January! Woohoo, will help me pay down some bills in anticipation of running them back up this summer...ahem.
I also just found out that all my icoke point entering and contest entering has paid off in the form of a $50 McDonalds gift card, presuming I get the skill testing question right lol. So all in all has been a decent friday, and close to being over.
