http://www.geocities.com/cyndiegran/diapertext1.html - this is the one I’ve done quite a few of - it’s really easy! She has a few other patterns on this site as well - check out all the links! There’s even one for homemade prefolds that looks easy as well.
http://www.diapersewing.com/ - along the left side is a menu with a ton of different pattern links. It also has some good info about the different types of materials that should and shouldn’t be used for diapers, as well as links to patterns for sale. I bought the HoneyBoy pattern and I’ve heard a lot of good things about it - but again, I haven’t tried it yet. I’m planning on doing a lot more sewing in the next few weeks.

Hey Brie, it's Alison... hope you don't mind my two cent-age.
my mom actually used cloth diapers on me when i was a baby... mind you, at that point Poland was a 2nd world country under either a communist or socialist government. can't remember which. foodstamps and all.
one thing i've noticed about my best friend and her fiancee, who are having their second baby now, i think she's 3 or 4 months, her first one's about two and a half, is that they buy diapers in super-bulk. she also lives for save-on-more points. up until she got her ICBC settlement, they were pretty tight for cash just with one baby.

Hey! how's it going? I'm gonna add you, ok? I don't post all that often, but feel free to add me back.
yeah, my mom used cloth diapers with me and my brother too. She has been a major advocate of cloth diapering, which is probably why I'm choosing to go that route. I've bought a whole bunch already and am preparing for what could be a very interesting experience.
I just hate the idea of spending that much money on disposables all the time, and adding that much waste to the environment.
