Hi Everyone
I am still alive and out here.
Life has been all change again for Pete and I lately. It's quite busy which is fun, but a bit tricky too.
We will be selling our house and hope to have it on the market this time next month. Very scary, but it's time to move on. We're hoping to get a nice house in a nicer area, somewhere to make a good home and (hopefully) to raise a family one day. I've never bought a house before as Pete owned this one when I moved in so it's all very new. It's nice to get caught up in something together.
We went to a wedding in Ital last week which was wonderful. It was so romantic and I was very impressed with the Italian ceremony, it's was very beautiful and I, of course, cried. British vowels are pretty legal sounding, but the Italian ones talked about tenderness and love, building a home together and looking after a family. Very lovely. They are a brilliant couple too and I am sure that they will be very happy together.
Unfortunately, I got very bitten by the old mossies so I am very itchy right now.
Work is rather up in the air, the Conservatives took control of our Council and my department is being restructured. I am quite nervous about it, but I'm also taking the opportunity to rethink my career. I don't know what I should be doing next, but the next step up in my current role is not something that I am looking for. We'll see, but I am thinking about the possibility of social work, some kind of counselling, something a bit more worthwhile.
I don't know, it's all up in the air.
So, yeah, enough of my boring post.
