Hangovers are cruel
Well the weekend proceeded as expected. And also as aniticated, my tolerance of alcohol has fallen quite dramatically. Not a bad thing I guess, but I really did feel rather rough this morning. A nice fattening breakfast with coffee, smoothie and peppermint tea, fixed me nicely.
It has been a productive Sunday though. I now have my flight to Jersey booked (£46 airport tax and charges added on, more than the sodding tickets!) Now I need to hire the bloody morning suit and all associated trappings. Maybe I was spoilt at the last wedding, but the couple paid for all the hire for all the ushers, bridesmaids etc despite any offer to help. I have to hire the morning suit at my own expense this time which is rather crap as this couple are considerably richer than the last one and seem determined to make this wedding as expensive for all the guests as possible! Being honoured and being asked to be an usher comes at a personal price I see. Ah well..
I also dug through my bank account via the miracle of online banking and discovered a number of dormant direct debits (from mobile phone and internet companies etc). Surprising what you can find in the e-nether when you can be bothered to look. Needless to say anything not important to me that actually needs to be paid, got scrubbed. Yay for internet banking.
Roll on the week. Two days working in York and a football tournament. Should keep me busy.
