Could we add the dress code policy? Oh do I have a reason...
I'm fully aware that my tops (the tube tops) are not in accordance with the established guidelines, but I take the risk anyways.
Today I wore my purple tube top. I went most of the day without my sweatshirt on cause it was hot. Not one comment. I walked by Mr. Yohe, Mr. Merrell (yeah I dont know how to spell that), and about four other administrators, not one word was said about my top. They said their hellos and we moved on. My teachers and the librarians, not one word. All day I had no problem.
At the end of the day (45 seconds till the bell rings so 2:09:15) I had to go into the Main office to drop something off in a teacher's mailbox. The convo went like this...
Me: "Can you put this in Ms. Fay's mailbox please?" Mean secretary lady: "Sure dear." Me: "thanks." I'm gathering my stuff and turn to walk out the door when... MSL: "You haven't worn that shirt all day have you? It doesn't coincide with the dress code policy" Me:"I just took off my sweatshirt when I was released from class." MSL: "You have to put your sweatshirt on, the final bell hasnt rung yet. My teeth nearly fell out after seeing your top. And they're permanent teeth! hahaha"
I put on my sweatshirt, walk out the door, and the bell rings.
