I hope ya'll had a nice holiday, well, those that celebrated anyways. Guess that means there's a decent sized American population here in Discedo.

So... I gotta ask: Is EVERYONE here from Earth? Let's just say I'm curious... If you're not, drop me a line, I'd love to hear about your world.

I'm from Earth, but I've gotta warn you, that doesn't really mean much. There are different "Earths", too.

Oh, I know. But having the power to snatch people from alternate realites is one thing. Doing the same to different PLANETS in different universes is another.

Deep stuff.

I think it's alternate realities that are much more impressive.

Well, but what about alternate realities of worlds in different universes?

When you get down to it, though, it's much easier to prove different realities than different plants. Maybe everyone here is from "Earth," just some have developed differently, or adopted different names for it. I mean, even in my "Earth," there are a couple hundred different words for it, depending on language and country.

I think that's much more impressive than being from Mercury.

Ah HA. Now we're thinking.

So do you think Discedo is on Earth?

And impression is relitive. What if say... I was from a world where reality hoping was normal, but space flight wasn't? Wouldn't my view on it be different?

It could be on a Earth. Time travel has been proven to exist here, and there are probably ways to explain moons with science. It would definitely explain why the signs and books here are in English and Greek, and why there's a Christian religion church.

Of course, everyone has different perspectives on everything, so I won't mind a difference in opinion. But to me, it's much more interesting to hop from one reality to another, than to travel a physical distance. Whether that distance is across the street, the city, the country, the world - or to the moon and back. Not that it's any less impressive, but it's not the same thing.

Interesting...

Though, to be honest I agree. I said it was somehting else, not nessiasily better or more impressive. Though in a way it is.

Let's say that grabbing people from a reality similar to your own is easiest. Less "distance" to travel. So, the farther "away" from your own, the harder it is.

If Discedo is the "baseline", the farther away from it would be harder to steal from. Yet most people here are from Earth. Therefore "Earth" and "Discedo" are close.

Those NOT from "Earth" are farther away, reality wise, and harder to get.

Stealing from a reality so far removed from Earth that humanity is on a different planet? I find that rather impressive indeed.

But, this is all theory, of course.

I guess so. This sort of thing sounds too much like science fiction for a simple guy like me to really understand, though. I'm about at my limit.
