A-ah, well, I was wondering... I've been here for...w-well, around five months, from the look of it, but I know there are others that have been here a lot longer. So, I'd like to ask: has anything like this ever happened before?

Or maybe, to put it a better way... Has the city ever presented this level of danger to people

I've been here for the better part of two years, and I can safely say yes. This isn't the first scientist in need of rescue either. You'd think they could keep track of their own, but apparently not.

Actually, when I first arrived, it was far worse--constant acid rain, no electricity, little food, absolutely no organized society--even with the dangers now and then, it's still come a long way.

Two years... --You mean one of the scientists was-- ...So that's why-- A-ah, I suppose I should keep track of these things better...

It's developed a lot in my stay here, as well...but that doesn't surprise me. Despite the progress people have made, it still seems like the past destruction is prominent.

Yes. Another one was kidnapped, and one of them died... it's alright, I have a hard time keeping track too, heh.

I think that's same with just about anywhere, but it's especially prominent here. We used to have a gas station. And the Marshall Street Apartments used to bigger.

Quite a while ago, actually. I can't remember all the details, but I know she was poisoned and blind for a while. There was some things uncovered at the time, mainly that there used to be another town in the mountains, but I'm afraid I don't know much more than that. I wasn't one of those who went to save her.

Er, yeah, but that explosion had to do with people here acting like idiots, not some horrible disaster.
