I think I could help. I can't really fight, but maybe I could use my ability to keep monsters out of places that have been cleared out?

...Really? That would be fantastic! How does that work, exactly? What would you have to do?

...A-ah-- if you don't mind explaining, I mean...

Well...I...I can use my Time Record, to use Time Out to keep any monsters and attacks out of a certain area. It...um...it blocks the time of anything that tries to get in, you see, and so they...well, they can't.

I...I don't think I could cover the whole building though, at least...not for very long. And it's harder if something keeps attacking it...but I could do a room or two, I think!

"Time Record"... I see! So you can control time? ...W-well, maybe not control, exactly... I've never heard of anyone being able to control time, per se. I imagine the consequences for something like that would be rather large...

--Ah, it sounds very interesting, though! Do you think that, if you used something like that on just the doors and windows of the building, it might have a similar effect?

Yes, to an extent. I can also use my Time Recovery to restore the time of injured people, or damaged objects. But it doesn't last forever - when I deactivate my Innocence, the time comes back.

I don't think so. Or if I did, I'd have to have a separate Time Out for each window and...and I don't know if I can do that. And I can't keep it up forever.

A-ah...innocence? So when you stop using your power, things go back to how they were? I think...

Hm...that makes sense. It sounds as though it would be less of a strain on your powers the way you suggested, as well. It would be a big help, though -- err, if you don't mind, at least.

Y...yes, Innocence is what the substance my Time Record if made out of is called...

That's right. It's...it's not permanent. And I can't bring back the dead.

I...I don't mind helping! I...I like to be useful...

I see... I'm sorry, I've never heard the term before. I think I understand, though! It sounds very interesting.

Really? Well-- it would be very useful. And I would appreciate it a lot! Thank you, miss.

I think it's something that's only from my world. At least, I haven't heard of anyone from other worlds who's heard of Innocence...

I'm happy to help help! I'm Miranda Lotto. Um...just let me know when you want me to come help?

Neither have I. A lot of worlds have specific magic like that -- different forms of enchantment, legends, traditions... I wouldn't be surprised.

It's nice to meet you, Miranda-san. I'm Syaoran. I'll definitely let you know!

It does seem like there are so many different powers...

Nice to meet you too, Syaoran!

There are. This world seems to be sort of a...crossing-over of many different worlds, really. A little like Yuuko-san's shop, I imagine... There are all sorts of different types of people here, aren't there?

Yuuko's shop?

There are...I was so surprised when I met Raphael...I never imagined that I'd meet a giant talking turtle...

Ah-- it's a shop I visited once, where people can go from many different worlds...

A giant--? Err. W-well-- Yes, that's basically what I mean. I can't say I've met him yet, though...

Wow...that must be an amazing shop.

He...he's very nice! I know it's strange talking to a large turtle but he's very friendly and you just have to get used to him...

I didn't get to see inside, but-- [...] Yuuko-san is an amazing person.

Really? That's wonderful! I suppose there are even more different people here than I thought... Ah-- but that's a good thing, I think.
