Well, in my home village of Hinamizawa, there was something called "Oyashiro-sama's curse". It was said said that if you tried to run away or leave the village the guardian god, Oyashiro-sama, would set a curse on you. Oyashrio-sama would visit you in your sleep and constantly torment you until you apologized over and over again and returned to Hinamizawa. Most people though it was merely a ghost story told to scare the children...but Rena knows. Rena knows that it's real...

[Her face darkens and she goes quiet for a moment--]

Oh no, it's alright. I've (somewhat) gotten used to people not believing in Oyashiro-sama. As long as you believe it shouldn't matter, right?

You just seem really sure in what you're saying. Rena has a knack for telling when people are lying and Kohane-chan doesn't seem to be.
