A stone bridge extended into the distance, across a river. The water was still and, in the darkness of the night, appeared black. Like ink, with only the moon's light to indicate that it was any other colour. Sitting on top of the bridge railing was a young woman with light brown hair. She was staring up at the moon, and might've been pretty had it not been for the scowl marring her features. If one looked closely, one might see wisps of black smoke surrounding her.
"If he regrets it to death, it'll be fine!" the woman suddenly shouted, her frown deepening. The smoke intensified to the point where it was clearly visible, swirling around her like a cloudy ribbon. She seemed so caught up in her thoughts that she didn't notice Kohane approaching her from behind. The young girl reached out a hand, before pulling back.
Then, her face as expressionless as ever, she pushed the woman off the railing and into the river and watched as she fell into the dark waters. The motion was a blur, as if time had slowed down for those few moments. Blinking once, Kohane turned and walked away, while the water became still once more.
