The red and yellow flowies are called lanata! I love that flower, and I believe it also comes in shades of purple.

Great pictures!! Disappointed you cant take pictures inside. I wonder if Mrs Winchester didn't want the souls of her ghosts captured...or if it's just to keep the inside from being damaged by flash photography.

Huh. Google would seem to disagree with you... when I search lanata I get some fat dude, and other things that are not that flower. But when I googled it from that post before, it gave me flowers. But I love them too! I love how they have so many different colors in one.

I don't think it has anything to do with Mrs. Winchester or the ghosts. They said something about "copyright", but didn't bother explaining exactly what they meant, so... whatevs. *shrugs*

Found the flowie, you missed an n! It's lantana! My google results are soooo much nicer than a fat dude.

This site is AWESOME. It has ALL THE THINGS.

Omggg the basement. We did take that second tour, and the basement gave me a weird vibe too, but I chalked it up to the fact that it was a basement and I am askeert of basements. Kinda glad I didn't see the wheelbarrow guy, but also kinda disappointed.

well, the person who told me what they were was the PCC plant expert person thing...she was the one who ordered, planted, and took care of all the non-grass, non-tree type things at the club. I think Lantana is the scientific name, and the name you *might* find it under is something like....bee balm or butterfly bush?
