Frozen Moments
The race photos are up on http://www.zoomphoto.ca. They got some great shots of everyone, and I have used one to make my newest userpic for winter running entries. Just visit their website, select the Hypothermic Half Marathon 2007-01-28 from the events list, and look me up with my bib number 1495 (clearly legible in my userpic, actually). I am having a lot of fun using the posted results on the Running Room website (http://www.runningroom.com) to find pictures of all my friends! I even checked the unidentifiable photos from the race to find people who didn't have their bib in full view in the shot, and found another one of myself (my left hand was covering the last two digits of my bib). I've sent an email to Zoomphoto to correct that.
Now that I've seen my photos, I'm even more glad that I got to wear my winter outfit for the race. That's not being too vain, is it? But it would have been a shame if it had been so cold that I had to bundle myself up to the point of being identifiable only via bib number. So, I'm just plain happy.
