Afternoon Tea
Inui was cold and silent when he opened his door to Kaidoh’s knock. After a long, tense moment, he stepped aside, motioning for the younger boy to enter.

While his senpai set about preparing tea, Kaidoh nervously tugged at the edge of his bandana - what if he’d misunderstood, somehow? Since that one time - Kaidoh blushed fiercely at the recollection - Inui-senpai had been studiously avoiding him. Kaidoh swallowed, courage flagging.

The only sign of his kouhei’s presence seconds before was the screen door, slowing drifting shut. Inui returned to the kitchen and dumped the hot liquid down the drain, face set.

Erm, yeah. I didn't like it even when I wrote it the first time, and now . . . yuck. Shouldn't have written it. Idiot.
