Books you may or may not know exist - 21
Guess what I found for 20p this week!
I've been after the original book since I discovered it existed a few years now so finding a copy during the week is awesome as can finally read it! I've read a couple of chapters already and the difference is quite amazing yet the right vibe is still there. Bambi's just seen the meadow for the first time, didn't know wtf to do as was so used to deer trails and ready to bolt if his mother told him so she got him to chase her to learn he can shoot around like a lunatic where it's safe. It's really neat!
This copy also has the 1967 illustrations added from the edition of that year!

Notes: I do question those deer limbs on the cover. Given the age while the pages are badly age stained it's in good condition!
