This is gonna get a bit erratic time wise from now due to ArtSlam starting tomorrow but regardless the show shall continue!

This week is a pure slice of British childhood I was lucky enough to see due to it repeating when I was a kid, The Trap Door. 100% claymation stop motion capture silliness with Him upstairs shouting his orders to his poor servant Berk, Boney watching the goings on and Drutt stealing all the worms. Who knows what might come out of that humble Trap Door? It's not a good idea to touch it but often the things down there are the ones that come out themselves....

He was only playing Spongey!

Sadly season 2 was cut short as they felt kids weren't interested in this old fangled things anymore. You look at Aardman now and Morph who is STILL going and wonder what the heck were they thinking exactly?

Plus the theme song is the best. I never did forget it.

Please note all the things I upload for this series are tagged with Books for easy linkage :)

Notes: It's one of many old children's series I love that I can talk to people now in their 40s and they know EXACTLY what I'm on about. It still stands up today as I've cobbled a few people to watch episodes on Youtube!
