Duty Calls
Well, I feel bad about leaving this job for the one that pays a bit more. They were shorthanded when I started, and I know I'm going to make it hard on some people until they find more people.
Which is why I picked up lots of overtime this week. I just got off at 4pm, and I agreed to go back in at 2am tonight and cover until 8am, then do my regular shift from 8am to 4pm. 14hrs straight, fun shit.
Then on Tuesday I will be working 8am to 4pm, then 4pm to midnight. 16 straight. Fucking superb.
This week I'm doing 62 hours total. That's $300 in overtime alone, which is lots of money for me.
